O motor 1.4 MultiAir Turbo, da Fiat, recebeu o troféu de Melhor Motor Novo de 2010 atribuído pelo «International Engine of the Year Awards 2010.
"The Multiair (or Uniair) is an electro-hydraulic variable valve actuation technology (without a throttle valve) controlling the valves in petrol or diesel engines, it is compatible with both naturally-aspirated and forced-induction engines. The Multiair was patented by Fiat in 2002 and was launched at 2009 Geneva Motor Show, the technology will be available in September 2009 in Alfa Romeo MiTo.[1] The new engines will be produced in Termoli, Italy at the Fiat Powertrain Technologies factory."
